Project Engineer


Hodess Cleanroom Construction, based in North Attleboro MA, is a nationally recognized leader in the planning, budgeting, design and construction of cleanrooms throughout the United States. We specialize in providing ISO Class 5 through 8 cleanrooms for manufacturing and R&D in the biotechnology, medical device, and pharmaceutical industries, compounding facilities for pharmacies and hospitals, micro-electronics and semi- conductor chip manufacturing facilities and lithium ion battery manufacturers.


The Project Engineer will assist the project management team by providing documentation and administrative support with minimal supervision.  He/she must be an excellent communicator (both verbal and written) and possess solid organization and problem solving skills. 





  • Manage the submittal process. Work closely with subcontractors and architect/engineers to ensure that submittals are received on time and released for fabrication the first time through the system.


  • Assist Project Managers with managing changes. Receive and properly distribute all documentation initiating changes, obtain and review subcontractor proposals in a timely fashion. Prepare and submit to the Project Manager completed change order proposals ready for submission to the Owner/Architect.


  • Assist Project Managers in development and biweekly updates of the project schedule.


  • Manage documentation and maintain logs for design documents, submittals, and RFI’s.


  • Assemble project close-out documentation including O&M’s, warranty information, affidavits, record drawings, as-builts etc.

Qualifications & Requirements:


  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or Engineering


  • Demonstrates knowledge and understanding of Engineering & construction documentation.


  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Project. AutoCAD, Blue Beam and Revit is a plus but not required.


  • The position entails both work from the home office and on job sites.
